Associate - Commodities Trade Finance (Lawyer)
Our client, an international law firm, is seeking a talented Commodities Trade Finance Associate to join it's dynamic team based in Geneva.
The role offers a platform to work on cross-jurisdictional deals within a fast-paced, global environment that focuses on commodities trade and sustainability-linked finance.
You will handle complex and stimulating matters in a highly regarded team, working with some of the most recognisable global brands.

Key Responsibilities :
- Advising clients on a broad range of commodities trade finance matters, including innovative structures in sustainability-linked finance.
- Drafting and negotiating a variety of legal agreements across diverse jurisdictions.
- Collaboration with internal teams and direct client interaction, managing complex and fast-paced transactions.
- Cross-border expertise : Involvement in international deals for commodity trading firms, shipping companies, and global banks.
About You :
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction.
- 4+ PQE years of experience in trade finance or banking & finance , ideally from a leading firm.
- Fluent in English (French, German, or Italian is a plus).
- Excellent communication and drafting skills.
- Passion for international trade , banking , and trade finance laws .
- Innovative problem-solver with a client-first approach and outstanding time management.
