You will work with talented multidisciplinary colleagues on these different tasks :
Editing tasks (in English) :
Under the patronage of the Senior Editor : review and edit the Homo Faber Guide weekly new profiles;
Edit and update Homo Faber Guide content when necessary;
Liaise with the team members in order to follow the planning and deadlines.
Content creation tasks (in English) :
Research and investigate – find the right contacts and information;
Be able to write biographies and journalistic interviews – following the Homo Faber Guide editorial line;
Liaise with the various stakeholders (artisans, ateliers, manufacturers, etc.);
Be able to build interesting thematized contents such as itineraries, short descriptive texts;
Assist the team in copywriting and collection of visual content when necessary;
Support with the coordination of the dedicated content team.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE ?
English as your mother-tongue with excellent writing skills, 2 other languages would be an asset
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, English Literature or Arts (currently looking for an internship under a university sponsorship)
Journalistic or storytelling skills
Ability to sort and organize content
Proactivity and agility
Computer proficiency including Word and Excel
Ability to adapt and use a database such as Salesforce
Good communication skills
Interest in art and design
Internship agreement with you school / university mandatory
Available for a 6-month internship with starting date
