We are seeking an ambitious and sports-passionate Head of Account Management to join our FIBA Marketing-Team , on a fulltime workload.
Are you looking for a new challenge where you are reporting to the Head of Marketing Services, where you are responsible for overseeing the FIBA Partners portfolio, directly managing key strategic FIBA Partners accounts, creating added value through innovative activation programmes, optimizing the benefits of the partnerships for all key stakeholders, and ensuring the correct implementation of all contractual rights and benefits?

Your main tasks
Oversee the execution of FIBA Partners and Global Suppliers’ agreements across FIBA international competitions
Build and maintain positive relationships with Partners’ project managers and senior executives as well as with Partners’ third party agencies
Serve as day-to-day contact for all partnership matters
Develop comprehensive executive summaries and presentations of contractual deliverables of the partnerships for key stakeholders such as FIBA and Local Organizing Committees
Coordinate flawless implementation of the partnerships’ benefits across FIBA international competitions with key stakeholders including FIBA, Local Organizing Committees and any third party suppliers
Manage the partnership activation budget and closely monitor that costs are aligned within approved budgets
Develop comprehensive understanding of partners’ industry trends, company’s culture, competitive environment, marketing / business strategy and objectives, target audience as well as distribution channels
Define partnership objectives as well as KPIs and, in coordination with the Research and Insights Manager, develop measurement and reporting processes
Develop and manage best-in-class, innovative and impactful partners’ activation programmes including conceptualization, planning, content creation, promotional development, media execution and event supervision
Assist FIBA Marketing Rights Delivery and Operations team with the commercial operations related to the delivery of partnerships’ rights during FIBA international competitions whenever necessary
Provide expertise on the optimization of the partnership benefits as well as identify additional partnership growth opportunities (broadcast, digital, licensing,..)
Provide innovative solutions to optimize the account management processes in order to deliver first-class services to partners
Day-to-day management of the account management team (3 staff members) and regular meetings to be full aligned regarding the various accounts
Collaborate with the sales team on the development of activation / marketing concepts for sponsorship proposals presented to prospects
Build a strong foundation for potential discussion of partnership extension with existing FIBA Partners
Your profile
You have at least 10-years’ experience working in the sports marketing industry
You have an advanced education, university degree or master's degree in business administration or marketing
You bring solid expert skills in account management and rights delivery
You have experience in team management
You have a good understanding of marketing / brand principles, and execution for sport’s and / or entertainment brands
You are able to work under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
You have strong leadership, organizational, problem solving skills, excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
You are a team player, service-oriented with focus on excellence
You have an analytical and creative mind, with attention to detail and have the willingness to travel abroad regularly
You have good computer skills and excellent knowledge of MS-Office environment
You speak and write fluently in English; French or Arabic is a plus
