Middle Office specialist- asset management
In this role, your main responsibilities will include the following
- Covering trade management of Equities, Bonds, Forex (spot, forwards, NDFs), Fund Orders, etc., across a wide range of Long Only funds and Institutional Mandates;
- Actively supporting portfolio managers and traders;
- Investigating and resolving queries raised by brokers, custodian banks and external providers;
- Managing daily business via a pro-active oversight of trades matching and settlement status as well as market and CSDR claims;
- Analyzing regulatory, industry and market updates / newsflashes provided by custodian banks, providers and brokers and communicate across the relevant parties;
- Participating in various projects : process enhancement, systems' related, launch of new portfolio.
The skills you will demonstrate
- Bachelor or BSc degree at least 3 years of financial markets experience
- Previous experience within a multi-strategy Asset Management firm
- Very good understanding of industry best practices and market conventions
- Familiar with Bloomberg would be a plus
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Proven analytical / logical thinking capabilities, diligent, with a keen eye for detail and focus on results;
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French
- Open-minded and conscientious; able to work both independently and as a team player
- Pro-active, self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment
