OSI PI Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Solid understanding of the OSIsoft PI system architecture with 5 years plus experience in PI System implementations.
• Experience configuring, validating, and tuning PI Servers and interfaces.
• Experience tailoring client software including PI Asset Framework, PI Vision, and RtReports.
• Experience with PI Event Frames and PI Batch setup and configuration is a plus.
• Good technical knowledge of OPC network protocols and other industrial communication network protocols.
• Solid understanding of Windows OS, networking, and system security fundamentals is nice to have.
• Project management - execute end to end project deliverables including, managing technical workshops, project planning, break down of tasks and assigning to team members, manage budgets etc.

Requirements

• Engineering graduate (Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with OSI PI software system implementation and maintenance, in the Life sciences industry is preferred.
• OSIsoft trained and certified (preferred).
• Experience working in GMP regulated environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team leader and help with team tasks assignment.
• Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
• Self-motivated.
• Passion for quality and excellence.
• Enjoys customer interaction.
• Fluency in English is required, German would be an asset.
