OSI PI Technical Lead
Responsibilities
- Solid understanding of the OSIsoft PI system architecture with 5 years plus experience in PI System implementations.
- Experience configuring, validating, and tuning PI Servers and interfaces.
- Experience tailoring client software including PI Asset Framework, PI Vision, and RtReports.
- Experience with PI Event Frames and PI Batch setup and configuration is a plus.
- Good technical knowledge of OPC network protocols and other industrial communication network protocols.
- Solid understanding of Windows OS, networking, and system security fundamentals is nice to have.
- Project management - execute end to end project deliverables including, managing technical workshops, project planning, break down of tasks and assigning to team members, manage budgets etc.
Requirements
- Engineering graduate (Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Automation Engineering).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with OSI PI software system implementation and maintenance, in the Life sciences industry is preferred.
- OSIsoft trained and certified (preferred).
- Experience working in GMP regulated environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team leader and help with team tasks assignment.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
- Self-motivated.
- Passion for quality and excellence.
- Enjoys customer interaction.
- Fluency in English is required, German would be an asset.
