We use Python and Typescript to build SDLabs which helps teams around the world to improve their experimentation workflows. We don't expect you to have a background in everything we use, but we do expect strong software engineering foundations and a background with either one of our key languages.Key Responsibilities Build user-facing features in our product SDLabs doing everything from database models to UI components Optimize / Refactor our architecture to solve scaling challenges in the future Add analytics, monitoring and alerts to the system to allow us to better respond to issues before they become big problems Redefine and improve internal software development processes so that we can build the best product possible Technology Angular 2 frontend build with Angular Material and RxJS Microservice architecture hosted on AWS Public API that allows integration of lab robots Python, Postgres and Redis in the backend Github, Docker, Cypress What we offer Interesting and challenging work in a dynamic Start-Up environment Support of strong ownership of features and all related decisions Interdisciplinary (ML, Chemist, Software Engineers) and international team Focus on Work-life balance Competitive Salary, equity and end of year bonus Work remotely up to two days a week Free coffee and fruits in the office Regular team events and Outinaries Five weeks of paid vacation Qualifications Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex problems and generating actionable insights. Excellent communication abilities in English, enabling effective collaboration with technical and non-technical team members. Strong knowledge of TypeScript for writing strongly-typed, scalable JavaScript. Experience working with SPA and developing engaging user interfaces Knowledge of development tools such as Docker, Github actions, continuous integration is a plus. Backend development experience with focus on maintainability and performance Familiarity with REST APIs or GraphQL for integrating frontend and backend. Bachelor or preferably Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or related fields. Nice-to-have Proficiency in Angular 2 for building dynamic web applications. Experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing of frontend applications. Knowledge in distributed architectures (Design patterns, micro-services, abstraction, ORM, automated testing, etc) Familiarity with Nx for managing monorepos and enhancing the developer experience. Experience working in a regulated environment (e.G.
