Manager - Deal Advisory - Transaction Services
You and your team of high performers advise our national and international clients on strategic M&A projects. Delivering our due diligence services requires you to take full ownership of fast-paced, intellectually challenging work, sharing critical insights and creating value for stakeholders.
Your contribution to KPMG
- Lead the execution of due diligence projects (buy-side and sell-side) for Swiss and international clients on small and medium size engagements, and report to the engagement director or partner
- Present quantitative analyses in a concise manner, accompanied by qualitative commentary in a polished report providing insights to our clients to support their investment / divestment decision
- Translate the conclusions of our analyses into appropriate recommendations for our clients in the context of their contemplated transaction
- Manage internal financial and human resources, and ensure the coordination of project activities and compliance with internal risk management procedures
- Collaborate with your Deal Advisory colleagues (Tax, Strategy, Valuation, Pension, etc.) as well as external lawyers and representatives of investment banks to deliver critical insights to our clients for their strategic investment decisions
- Work closely with more junior team members on projects, provide guidance, share knowledge and review their work
This is what makes you successful
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Economics, preferably with a specialisation in Finance and Accounting; relevant further education (ACCA, CPA) seen as a plus
- At least 5-6 years of experience in Transaction Services; prior experience in M&A, audit, financial consulting or controlling of an international firm also considered, if followed by several years in Transaction Services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and affinity for explaining complex topics in a simple and understandable way
- Team player with strong people management skills and a willingness to mentor and teach junior team members, fostering their professional development
- Proactive and able to manage projects autonomously; not afraid to take on responsibility
- Able to handle pressure combined with a high degree of flexibility
- Fluent in written and spoken French and English, knowledge of other languages (in particular German) seen as an asset
