We are seeking a motivated Senior Research Associate to join our client start-up team. Apply now to be a key part of an innovative company! Tasks Work closely with the cell biology team and other relevant departments, including Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biophysics.
Generate and analyze pharmacology data, interpret scientific results, and provide both oral and written reports. Manage cell culture processes for various mammalian cell lines.
Develop, optimize, and conduct a range of cell-based assays to ensure high quality and reproducibility. Plan and execute experiments to screen small molecule ligands using plate-based assays, focusing on structure-activity relationships (SAR).
Play a crucial role in identifying and validating new therapeutic targets in oncology. Contribute to collaborations with CROs.
Plan and organize work schedules while remaining adaptable to shifting priorities. Maintain detailed records of experimental planning, data, and analysis in an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) system.
Adhere to safe laboratory practices, including proper use and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials. Support and uphold efficient laboratory operations.
Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of industry experience in an equivalent position is mandatory.
Experience in oncology is mandatory. Proficient in cell culture techniques and cell-based assays. Extensive hands-on experience with experimental methods such as microscopy, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western blot, PCR, transfection, lentiviral transduction, RNAi, etc.
Familiarity with techniques for assessing the engagement of small molecules with targets in cells is desirable. Skilled in MS Office and data analysis tools, including Excel and GraphPad Prism.
Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Adaptable, proactive, and efficient, with a strong capacity for independent problem-solving.
Effective team player with excellent communication skills, high energy, and a positive attitude. Fluent in written and spoken English.
