ROLE OVERVIEW
Part of our Front Office team on our River vessels, the Guest Service Agent To provide guests at all times with friendly, personalized front-desk service, including concierge services, 24 hours a day in a manner consistent with Viking River Cruises’ high standard of guest services.
This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining high standards and consistency of outstanding customer service and monitoring of all Guest Services-related tasks.
The Guest Service Agent reports to Guest Service Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO ON BOARD
- Serve as the main information center for all guests and handle on-board sales transactions
- Operate phone switchboard, cashless system, and safety system
- Provide 24-hour concierge services and ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures
- Maintain the guest infotainment system and update the logbook daily
- Handle guest complaints promptly and assist with medical disembarkations
- Coordinate and confirm guests' departure arrangements, organize guest documents, and assist with shore excursions.

- Rotation Schedule : In Egypt, you will operate on a 90-days-on and 14 to 21 days off-rotation.

- Guests : Up to 82 guests on board to 75 crew members

ABOUT YOU
- High school diploma required, degree with hospitality focus preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in an upscale cruise line or comparable hotel in a similar position
- Must maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Extensive walking and standing required
- Fluent in English, with excellent oral & written communication skills, second language as per itinerary is an advantage
