The Opportunity

The Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a PR strategy that aligns with the Polestar brand, philosophy, products, and services in Switzerland
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and key influencers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for journalists, influencers, media, government officials, business partners, employees, customers, industry associations, and other stakeholders
- Generate media attention and enhance brand reputation through innovative corporate events and communications
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events, working closely with retail partners to align PR and event activities
- Stay informed about news, media trends, and market developments, and translate these into opportunities or address potential threats for the organization
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role and at Polestar, certain qualities and qualifications are essential. A proactive attitude with flexibility, an inquisitive mindset, and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
You thrive under pressure and take action rather than talk. You have the ability to communicate effectively with both executive and operational teams.
Additionally, we require that you have :
- A university degree (or equivalent) in Communications, Journalism, or Business
- Experience in PR within the automotive industry
- A strong network and experience in design, lifestyle, tech, and / or sustainability fields are highly valuable
- Fluent in High German and English, with French being a strong advantage.
- Strong budget management skills
- Experience working with agencies or consultants, along with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
