For ourclient, an international company based in Neuchâtel, we are lookingfor an Automation Engineer.

About therole :

Within the Engineering Automationdepartment, you will be part of a team of engineers managed by theOperational Automation Supervisor.

As an administrator or SystemOwner of certain equipment, you will be responsible for technicalsupport (hot line), investigating, maintaining and improving theautomation of the production equipment inuse.

• You will also participate in siteimprovements changes in collaboration with with multi-disciplinaryteam and you will also provide support for automation validationactivities.
• As an administrator or System Owneryou will be asked to provide Automation expertise in theinvestigation of deviations or otherproblems.

Yourresponsibilities :

• Responsiblefor and administrator of automated systems linked to the productionequipment of the site.
• Support the demands ofour different partners as an Automationexpert.
• Good knowledge in PLC and Supervisionsoftware development (Rockwell Control Logix and IFIX (GE )Supervision).
• Carry out FAT (factory acceptancetests) and SAT (site acceptance tests) tests and commissioning ofautomated systems.
• Respect and promote the EHS(environment, health, safety) rules in force on the site andparticipate in the improvement of the intervention conditions by aproactive attitude.

Your profile :

• Bachelor ofSciences HES as an engineer in Automation orequivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in thefield of biotechnology or the medical / pharmaceuticalindustry.
• Experience in writing functional anddesign specifications.
• Demonstrated knowledgeof GMP (good manufacturing practices) requirements andbiopharmaceutical industry regulations and standards related toqualification and validation.
• Dynamic andwilling character with a strong teamspirit.
• Technical curiosity and ability tolearn and share skills.
• Methodical and rigorousin work with an ability to analyze / solveproblems.
• Good verbal and written communicationin French, English is an asset.
• Knowledge anduse of standard computer tools.
• Reliable,serious and organised can describe you.

Nice to have :

• Knowledge of biotechnologytechnologies and processes, with proven experience in computerizedand automated systems in this field.
• OsiSoft PIand Inmation (Emerson)proficiency.
