For a luxury watch manufacturer based in the heart of the watchmaking region of Switzerland, we’re currently looking for an International Markets / Sales Manager to join their Sales Dept.

In this full-time position requiring regular travel, you’ll be acting as an interface between the assigned markets / countries ( DACH + UK + Northern Europe ) and the HQ, while promoting the brand in the assigned territories, in order to achieve the sales objectives.

POSITION

  • Develop strategies and achieve annual sales, marketing and communications budgets.
  • Identify, target and open new points of sale (POS) in the territory, in line with annual targets and the brand's distribution strategy.
  • Ensure that each outlet in the territory meets brand requirements, training and merchandising standards.
  • Ensure that distribution and product mix are in line with the brand's commercial rules and requirements.
  • Open as well as close POS in order to maintain brand image, quality and respect selective distribution requirements.
  • Ensure that sales outlets comply with the requirements defined by the brand : assortment, space, furniture, etc.
  • Organise and / or conduct sales training to increase product knowledge and maximise sell-out.
  • Monitor Pricing, observe trends and analyse sell-out in assigned territories for necessary adjustments.
  • Supervise marketing activities : events, product launches, exhibitions, sponsorships, advertising campaigns, etc.
  • Collaborate with and support national Brand Managers, and supervise subsidiary inventory levels.

PROFILE

  • Proven Wholesale Management background with international exposure
  • Degree in business administration, Commerce, Luxury Marketing, or related fields
  • Strong background or interest in Premium-Luxury Products such as Watches, Jewellery and Accessories
  • Proven track record in developing, negotiating and implementing wholesale strategies as well as leading international teams
  • Excellent multicultural, interpersonal and negotiation skills, securing the most effective relationships with partners
  • Analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, other languages would be highly valued (GER, Scandinavian,…)
  • Skilled with ERP systems such as SAP, and with the MS Office suite.
  • Understanding of the target markets / geographical area : DACH + UK + Northern Europe
  • Ability to travel extensively and reside close to the HQ in the Western part of Switzerland (Neuchâtel-Jura Bernois region).
  • Key personal traits : Proactive, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, diplomatic, client centric, highly driven and committed to the brand.
