Job Description
The Finance transformation project manager will support the Finance Transformation team in the S / 4 HANA implementation program, focusing on post-go-live activities and project management tasks with a focus on end-to-end order to cash processes with the following responsibilities : Post-Go-Live Support
- Monitor daily operations, anticipate, and resolve O2C (Order-to-Cash) issues
- Coordinate issue resolution and change requests based on priority
- Propose and implement finance process improvements
- Ensure processes align with the Target Operating Model, including system authorizations and change management
- Provide regular updates on stabilization progress using dashboards
- Collaborate with business units to address and resolve issues
Project Management Support
- Identify stakeholders and manage communications during all project phases (build, test, training, go-live)
- Organize and coordinate training sessions, including material review and execution tracking
- Define and validate test cases to ensure quality and error-free solutions
- Oversee testing processes including Functional Integration Tests and User Acceptance Tests and document issues
- Prepare supporting documents for governance and stakeholder communication
Finance Process Design & Alignment
- Design and align finance processes
- Ensure processes match real-world practices and requirements
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation (plans, dashboards, procedures) and shared libraries
- Support periodic alignment and governance meetings
- Support users post-go-live with issue tracking, metrics, and system usage
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance transformation project manager we are looking for will bring the following background and experience :
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in management, economics, business administration or in a related field
- 6 to 8 years of process design and project management experience
- Excellent business analysis capabilities : process documentation, workflow, issue & mitigation solution conceptualization
- Good understanding of accounting processes
- IT abilities and strong knowledge of Outlook, MSTeams, Sharepoint and Microsoft Office tools (Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with Atlassian JIRA and X-RAY add-on is a strong plus
- Familiarity with project management processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience with SAP S / 4 HANA is a plus
- Fluent in English, Italian is a plus
- Knowledge of process design tool is a plus
- Soft skills (proactivity, problem solving, communication, time management / organization, motivation, curiosity)
- Capability to simplify complex issues through conceptualization into document and present simple solution through several options
