Controlling Trainee

Position

In order to strengthen our Finance department based in Neuchâtel, we are recruiting a

Controlling Trainee

From September 2024 to February 2025

Reporting directly to our Controlling and Budget Reporting Manager, your role will be to support the team in monitoring the production and communication of the dashboards and indicators needed to provide a clear financial picture of the company.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will support our Controlling Department and take part in closings and reporting activities on a monthly / quarterly basis.

You will contribute to and provide support for monitoring and analyzing the production scope as well as key performance indicators : production variances under absorption, stock and work in progress levels.

You will support operational tasks such as calculating, analyzing, and validating standard production costs. You will also participate in supervising the inventory cycle regarding obsolescence and stock levels, including stocktaking.

Profile

You have a university degree in Management, Finance, or Economics and want to join the Luxury Industry. With a meticulous and organized approach, you excel in managing tasks with precision.

Proficient in Excel, your command of SAP and PowerBI is an added advantage. You are curious and able to think out of the box, bringing forth new ideas and converging them in a pragmatic way.

Your language proficiency is an asset - fluent in French, and English is a plus. As an intern, you thrive in team settings and are committed to meeting the expectations of internal clients.

Thanks to your excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills, you are capable of working in a multicultural environment.

Results-driven, you apply rigorous logic and methods to analyze data, consistently delivering effective solutions.
