WHAT YOU CAN MOVE

We are seeking a BPM and Automation Consultant (Technical) who is passionate about designing, implementing, and enhancing hyper-automated workflows that drive real business impact. In this role, you won’t just advise—you will take ownership of delivering automation solutions by developing and configuring BPM platforms, integrating them into existing IT landscapes, and continuously optimizing their performance.

Working closely with business and IT stakeholders, you will identify opportunities for automation and translate them into robust, scalable implementations. Your focus will include both traditional BPM-based solutions and the introduction of modern hyperautomation and agentic automation concepts. You will actively contribute to expanding and evolving BPM platforms, ensuring they meet complex enterprise needs while staying at the cutting edge of automation technologies.

As part of the adesso Business Automation Line of Business, you will join a collaborative, international, and multidisciplinary team. You’ll work on innovative projects that blend process consulting, technical implementation, and orchestration frameworks—enabling organizations to achieve new levels of efficiency and agility through automation.

HOW YOU SUCCEED

Qualifications

• You hold a successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable field with relevant focus. Or completed an apprenticeship in IT sector.

Who You Are

• Possess an agile mindset with strong communication skills, customer orientation, and confidence in face-to-face interactions
• Able to write readable, testable, and maintainable code following the clean code principles
• Enjoy analytical tasks, including the analysis of processes and data
• Strong team player with excellent presentation and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English and C1 proficiency in French

Professional Experience

• 1-2 years of relevant experience

Core Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java, particularly with Spring Boot
• Experience with JUnit testing and mocking frameworks
• Strong knowledge of DBMS, SQL, JPA, ORM
• Skilled in build automation using Maven or Gradle
• Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Solid understanding of RESTful web services and working with JSON/XML

Additional Skills (Senior Level - desirable for Junior/Professional)

• Proficiency with Docker
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
• Awareness of AI Agents and related concepts

Nice To Have

• Familiarity with BPM tools (e.g., Camunda, Flowable, Appway, UiPath, IBM BAW, Appian) and ideally certified in one or more of these
• Knowledge of modeling notations (BPMN 2.0, CMMN 1.1, DMN 1.3, UML)
• Experience in frontend development, ideally with React
