About the role

As a Data Analyst, you will support the development of a robust medical platform by shaping clinical data structures and variable architecture. You will translate complex datasets into actionable insights to support high-level research and strategic decision-making within a dynamic medical unit.

Work tasks

This role involves bridging the gap between clinical data and technical implementation, ensuring data integrity while providing advanced analytical support for medical research projects.

  • Define logical data structures and metadata in collaboration with software developers
  • Ensure historical medical data remains accessible and usable within the new environment
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, definitions, and validation rules
  • Interrogate datasets using pattern recognition and analytical interpretation
  • Conduct exploratory analyses to answer medical and strategic questions

We are looking for

  • Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s (desired) degree in health sciences, sports science, epidemiology, data science, biostatistics, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of human anatomy and musculoskeletal injuries.

  • Strong attention to detail and a clear interest in data quality and validity.

  • Organised, reliable working style with good communication skills for resolving data queries.
