About the role
Supports the Accounting team by processing Accounts Payable (AP) invoices across all legal entities, ensuring timely payments, and process daily cash operations from Cash Management Module.
Involved in performing T&E audit activities, Cash requests and AP monthly closings.
What you’ll do in the role
AP Operations
- Process all AP invoices in Oracle across all legal entities
- Maintain suppliers master data in Oracle
- Ensure approval of AP invoices according to corporate policy & process
- Control pertinence of legal requirement on invoices received (VAT, addresses,
- Investigate and resolve suppliers invoices discrepancies
- Apply invoices to open purchase orders for inventory purchases
Cash Operations
- Prepare weekly payment batch including salaries for assigned countries
- Process the daily banks reconciliations in Oracle
- Prepare the weekly cash forecast
- Control employees travel expenses reports and prepare payments
- Provide system training and support to staff and end users
- Support in testing new system functionalities
Others
- Archive and destroy departmental related documents
- Create and update AP documentations and processes
- Act as back up for AP counter-part
Experience / Technical Skills
2-3 years experience in a similar role in an international FMCG or equivalent
Previous experience in consumer goods an advantage
Good knowledge of General Accounting is a plus
Good knowledge of MS office - Excel a must
Oracle Finance module or another ERP knowledge
General understanding of Internal Control System, a plus
Fluent in English (all other European language, an asset)
