Software Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced test engineer to join our Quality Control team at Swiss-Aviation Software. Tasks
Definition of test strategies and managing test plans.
Carry out functional and user acceptance testing.
Coordinate and execute test activities within the assigned development team and coordinate with other development teams.
Troubleshoot, report, track and manage defects.
Contribute to improve existing test methods, tools and processes continuously.
Support product development at all levels regarding product quality.
Education and experience / hard skill requirements
Degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or similar scientific subject or comparable experience.
3+ years of experience and knowledge in software testing (including : testing processes; methodologies and tools; designing, developing, implementing, executing, and documenting manual and automated test scripts) is mandatory.
Experience and knowledge in mobile application testing.
Programming / coding experience and knowledge with at least one programming language.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Desirable
SQL skills.
Previous experience with AMOS.
Previous experience in Material Management (Stores, Logistics, etc), particularly in aviation related field.
Experience in software development, Java / Jython / Python coding skills.
Experience with JUnit.
Experience with QF Test.
Experience with Flutter framework and Dart programming language.
Experience in other frontend such as TypeScript or Angular automation test frameworks.
Experience in Agile work environment.
Any additional language, in particular German or French, is an asset.
