For a rapidly growing, international, technology?driven industrial group with a strong footprint in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Director Finance.<
Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a key senior management role with international responsibility across multiple entities in Europe, Asia, and the US. The position combines strong governance, financial leadership, and close operational partnership with the business, playing a critical role in ensuring financial transparency, compliance, and performance.<
This role is ideally suited for a hands?on, highly operational finance leader with
oad expertise, who thrives in complex international environments and enjoys acting as a trusted sparring partner to senior stakeholders.
Overall finance and controlling responsibility for entities across Switzerland, Austria, Singapore, Asia and the US
Ensure timely, accurate and high?quality financial reporting, including actuals, budgets, forecasts and multi?year plans, in line with group standards
Lead and further develop finance processes, tools and systems to continuously improve efficiency, transparency and scalability
Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Act as primary finance interface for internal and external audits
Own and further develop the transfer pricing framework in close collaboration with Group Tax and external advisors
Responsibility for statutory accounts, annual filings, corporate income tax returns as well as VAT and withholding tax declarations
Oversight of payroll processes for Switzerland, Austria and the US
Prepare management reports, analyses and decision papers for senior management
Build, lead and develop a high?performing international finance team
Direct management responsibility for multiple senior finance professionals
Lead international teams across different seniority levels and cultural backgrounds
Drive consistent standards, accountability and performance across all finance functions within scope
Hands?on ownership across Europe, Asia and the US, directly reporting to the CFO
Responsibility : reporting, controlling, tax, transfer pricing, audits & payroll
Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Controlling or a related field
A Swiss federal diploma such as Eidg. dipl. Experte in Rechnungslegung & Controlling is highly preferred
Minimum 10 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
Proven background in international finance and controlling, ideally within industrial, high?tech or manufacturing environments
Strong expertise in IFRS and statutory accounting, Tax and transfer pricing, Internal control systems
Solid SAP knowledge and strong proficiency in BI tools, Power BI and Excel
Experience in project, transformation or change management is an advantage
Strong leader with a convincing and credible personality
High integrity, independence and professional judgement
Hands?on, pragmatic and solution?oriented mindset
Able to operate effectively under pressure and during tight closing cycles
Strong communication skills and ability to interact at all organizational levels
Cost? and performance?oriented, with a genuine interest in business partnership
Fluency in English is required, very good German skills a big plus
