*6 Month+ Contract* OpenShift Engineer with Ansible - 50% Home Office - Zürich
We are seeking a talented and experienced OpenShift Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month extendable contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing our OpenShift environments.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of our containerized applications.
Tasks
- OpenShift Management : Install, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters in production and development environments.
- Automation with Ansible : Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated deployments, configurations, and management tasks.
- Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues related to OpenShift infrastructure and application deployments.
- Collaboration : Work closely with development, operations, and DevOps teams to integrate OpenShift solutions that meet business needs.
- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for OpenShift configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Security Compliance : Implement and maintain security best practices within OpenShift environments.
Requirements
- Experience : Proven experience in managing and supporting OpenShift environments.
- Ansible Proficiency : Strong knowledge of Ansible for automation of deployment and configuration tasks.
- Containerization : Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Linux Expertise : Proficient in Linux system administration.
- Cloud Technologies : Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Language : Fluency in German is mandatory.
