Position : Legal Counsel - Data Privacy

Location : Zurich
Salary : CHF 120’000-140’000
Tasks
- Provide expert legal advice on data privacy and protection, ensuring compliance with regulations related to data collection, processing, storage, and transfer
- Develop, implement, and maintain data privacy policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices
- Conduct risk and impact assessments to identify potential privacy risks and manage data access requests in compliance with applicable laws
- Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to minimize legal risks from new technologies and data processing initiatives
- Monitor the effectiveness of the data privacy program, recommending enhancements for continuous improvement
- Conduct legal research on emerging privacy issues and develop guidelines, articles, and reports on various data privacy topics
Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Resident in Switzerland
- Completed legal degree and / or relevant compliance certification
- 3+ years PQE in the legal field in data privacy law
