About the job

Tether is looking for a Product Communications & PR Manager to support communications across its growing technology and AI ecosystem including WDK, QVAC, Hadron by Tether, Keet, Holepunch, and many other emerging initiatives.

In this role, you will help shape and share the story of how Tether is building the infrastructure for secure, decentralized, and AI-driven systems. You will focus on media relations, press strategy, and narrative development, helping to define Tether’s voice across AI, Web3, and privacy-preserving technologies.

You will collaborate with internal teams to create messaging, media materials, and communications programs that bring Tether’s technologies to life for global audiences. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, technical environment and who can turn complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives.

Responsibilities

Support product and AI-related PR and communications initiatives across Tether’s technology portfolio (WDK, QVAC, Hadron, Keet, Holepunch, and more).

Partner with product and communications teams to develop and execute PR strategies for product launches, feature updates, and announcements.

Draft press releases, Q&As, media statements, and briefing materials that explain Tether’s technology and vision in an accessible and accurate way.

Manage media outreach and press engagement, building strong relationships with reporters and editors covering AI, crypto, technology, and business.

Monitor industry trends, news cycles, and sentiment, identifying opportunities for proactive storytelling, executive visibility, and thought leadership.

Help create messaging frameworks and narratives that align product stories across AI, Web3, and decentralized infrastructure.

Support internal and external communications to ensure consistent tone, accuracy, and brand voice across all public-facing channels.

Collaborate with partners, ecosystem teams, and PR agencies to amplify earned media opportunities and shared announcements.

Assist in coordinating interviews, speaking opportunities, and media briefings for Tether’s leadership and product teams

• Have 5–8 years of experience in PR, product communications, or tech media relations, ideally with exposure to AI, crypto, or frontier technologies.
• Are skilled at translating complex technical topics into simple, engaging, and accurate language.
• Have strong writing and editing skills, with attention to clarity, precision, and tone.
• Have experience managing relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets, specifically in the technology or AI sectors.
• Are comfortable working across time zones and disciplines, managing multiple projects at once.
• Understand media landscapes across tech, Web3, AI, and open-source communities.
