Your contribution :
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and ensuring trade compliance within our dynamic organization.
Collaborating closely with the Trade Compliance Manager, you'll lead or support departmental projects, playing a key role in maintaining our commitment to adherence and improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide support, validation, and control of master data accuracy to ensure compliance with trade regulations.
- Act as the point of contact (POC) for queries related to HS codes.
- Classify goods in the Tariff Schedule according to the General Rules of the Harmonized System.
- Conduct checks on sanction lists, embargoes, and dual-use items in SAP GTS, including releasing GTS blocks.
- Perform GTS preference calculations.
- Determine and document preference and trade characteristics of goods.
- Issue and verify End-User Certificates.
- Provide LLE (Local Legal Entity) management support.
- Support trade compliance and customs-related projects as needed, contributing to the development and implementation of optimizations.
- Create, enhance, and manage trade compliance processes and SOPs.
- Ensure the application and compliance with TC (Trade Compliance) policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist the Trade Compliance Manager in developing and executing departmental strategies and plans.
- Engage in consultation and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Your Background :

- Completed vocational training, possibly with a university degree.
- Further education in foreign trade.
- 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance and master data management.
- Experience in project management and SAP is advantageous.
- Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken German and English
