Accountant - Temporary (Maternity Leave replacement)

The Role

This temporary position reports to the Finance Manager and will have frequent contact with other department of the Cham site staff (Customer Service, Supply Chain teams, cross-functional departments).

Contact with other Catalent manufacturing sites and Catalent corporate departments will be required.

You will be overtaking accountability of Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables while being involved in other financial analytics for decision making.

Mains tasks will be

Maintain Company's book accuracy including :

Bank bookings

Supplier payments

Provisions booking

Credit & Debit

Account payable / receivable

Sales Statistics

Journal Entry preparation for month end including expense accruals.

Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Employee cross charges for basecost (Indirect & SGA).

Support the Finance Team with audit task, vat, and work together with EU entities

Support the Finance Team in ensuring compliance to Cham standard operating procedures (SOP’s)

The Profile

Accounting or finance degree, with +5 years experience in similar role.

Expertise on G / L

Good analytical skills to understand numbers.

Organizational skills are a must; prioritizing work to meet timetables and deadlines is crucial

Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and and ERP systems (JDE preferably)

A can-do attitude to work

Knowledge on EU-VAT t / US GAAP is a plus

Positive mindset

Team worker

100% Fluent in English (both oral and written)

Available to start temporary replacement as from June (for +- 6 months)
