We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and lead complex aerospace / space projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and on budget. You should be enthusiastic about highly specialized technology and appreciate contact with international customers.

Tasks

• Accountable for overall project leading and coordination of activities
• Responsibility and accountability for budget and schedule, within project scope
• Manage cross-functional teams and resources to foster collaborative and highly-performance team environment
• Responsible for planning, execution, monitoring/control and closure of activities
• Management of customer relationship, acting as main point of contact
• Ensure implementation of best project management practices, satisfying project quality and standard requirements
• Interface between customer, suppliers, and internal operations
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers, as needed, during the whole project phase
• Management of large offer elaboration, from initial contact to proposal release

Requirements

• Technical master’s degree in aerospace engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams and complex projects
• At least 5 years of experience in the international space industry (commercial or institutional)
• Knowledge of aerospace and space industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Customer and solution oriented
• Enjoy challenges and like to go the extra mile
• Very good knowledge of English (oral and written). German or French is a plus
