Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at Optotune. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge mechanical systems and solutions.

Tasks

• Supporting product, process and technology development from concept designs through to product launch and mass production
• 3D modelling, mechanical simulations and detailed design documentation including technical drawings
• Process tooling development to ensure the manufacturability of our products at low costs, high throughput, and maximum yield
• Feasibility studies and evaluation of new concepts
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the mechanical engineering toolset including CAD and Product Data Maintenance (PDM) systems and associated process
• Supporting the development of a world-class supply chain and integrating associated technologies into the product and process designs
• Collaboration with project leaders and multidisciplinary project teams
