3Brain is looking for a full-time Mechanical Engineer - Thermal Design for its Swiss office. You , will be an integral part of our dynamic engineering team, contributing to the development of , cutting-edge products with a focus on efficient thermal management and dissipation of heat , for machines designed for operation in cell incubators.

Main responsibilities :

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements and , specifications
• Conduct thermal simulations and analysis to optimize product performance and , reliability
• Design mechanical components, ensuring seamless integration with electronics and , optimal heat dissipation
• Design other parts of our products on CAD, ensuring compatibility and alignment with , overall product design
• Work closely with electronics engineers to incorporate electronic components into , overall product design
• Perform testing and validation of integrated systems to ensure functionality and , adherence to specifications
• Evaluate and select materials and manufacturing processes suitable for thermal and , electronic components
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product design processes and , methodologies
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven and extensive experience in product design, demonstrating a strong emphasis on , thermal management and electronics integration
• Exceptional proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design and advanced thermal , simulation tools
• Deep understanding of heat transfer principles, thermal management techniques, and , their application in product design
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and a creative approach to addressing complex , thermal and electronic design challenges
• Effective communication skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate seamlessly within , cross-functional teams
• Excellent English language skills
• Applicant must have an EU residence permit
• Additional Qualifications
• Proficiency in FEA software such as ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar tools
• Experience with scripting environments such as Python and MATLAB
• German language knowledge
