As part of the Strategy team of the Small Molecules Division, the function is responsible for the strategy deployment of our Small Molecules Division, and this role closely supervises the annual strategy agenda.
The role requires the ability to have a strategic mindset but also juggle multiple projects, solid process management experience, and operational excellence methods.
Strong Microsoft knowledge and impactful presentation skills are critical. The role incumbent must also be an effective and influencing communicator and enable intentional collaboration with the Small Molecules business leadership, Communications, and HR Divisional leadership, local site communications network, etc.
Key responsibilities :
He / She must deliver sustainable value by leading the Strategy of Divisional Governance & Process improvement using a standard approach to debottlenecking across the Lonza network.
- Assess together with the SM Strategy Head major opportunities for throughput improvement to optimize business planning process efficiency.
- Supervise and monitor the progress of all the strategic projects across the SM network.
- Lead the governance and framework of divisional and LT meetings / Workshops
- Engaged in potential M&A activities providing tactical collaboration.
- Enable internal interconnection between Strategy team members interfacing with team members.
Key requirements :
- Advanced knowledge in Project Management skills
- Proven track record in successfully managing projects and change management activities, as well as developing and overseeing cross-functional-divisional and strategic initiatives.
- Maturity, confidence, and a high degree of emotional intelligence with demonstrated empathy and ability to influence others and challenge the status quo.
- Agile and pro-active relationship management in a multi-matrix organization
- Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature using tact and diplomacy
- Excellent communication skills : simplifying the complex, making the message / request clear, providing options / proposals, ability to focus on the purpose and outcome.

- Good command of English, written and verbal
