QA Associate

Hobson Prior working closely with a global pharmaceutical who is seeking a QA Associate to join their team in Switzerland.

In this role, you will focus on batch record reviews, supportive project work, and ensuring compliance with cGMP standards.

Your contributions will be crucial in supporting the timely release of GMP-relevant documents and batches.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Responsibilities :

• Receive and document incoming materials such as executed batch records, work orders, and vendor labels.
• Prepare necessary documentation for batch record reviews, including analysis reports and specifications.
• Support the timely release of GMP batches, including labels, primary packed materials, and investigational medical products.
• Review and approve GMP-relevant documents, such as work orders and clinical study labels.
• Conduct batch record reviews for both internal and contractor-packed materials.
• Compile notifications for extensions due to revised expiry dates.
• Scan, file, and archive QA-owned documents.
• Write and review procedures and forms related to the QA batch record review process.
• Contribute to performance reports for the release of investigational medical products.
• Collaborate with QA and GCS Line Units on process improvements and quality compliance issues.
• Support the use and improvement of GMP-relevant IT tools and processes.

Key Skills & Requirements :

• Proficiency in German and English (oral and written).
• Strong communication skills to address GMP and logistics-related questions.
• Scientific, technical, and regulatory knowledge in specific areas.
• Basic understanding of drug development.
• Detailed knowledge of cGMP and working knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Good organizational skills.
