As a valued member of our Processing Management team, you will join a group of five experienced colleagues, dedicated to providing essential tax and regulatory services to our clients.
Together, we deliver high-quality tax services and support internal and external stakeholders with thorough and insightful service.
What would your role be?
Withholding & Transaction Tax Management : Monitor, deliver, and report on various withholding and transaction taxes, including Swiss turnover tax, Swiss and foreign withholding tax, and financial transaction taxes (e.
g. Spain / Italy / France transaction tax).
- AEOI & FATCA Reporting : Plan, support, and coordinate the annual reporting for AEOI / CRS and FATCA, ensuring accurate and timely compliance.
- Qualified Intermediary (QI) & 871(m) Reporting : Oversee the planning, support, and coordination of the annual Qualified Intermediary (QI) and Qualified Securities Dealer (QDD) 871(m) reporting and compliance, including delivering WHT to IRS and conducting data reconciliations.
- Department Representation & Process Optimization : Act as a knowledgeable and reliable representative of the department in bank-wide projects and process enhancement initiatives related to regulatory tax topics.
- Process & Service Development : Drive the continuous improvement of existing processes and services, collaborating closely with IT to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Inquiry Processing & Analysis : Respond to and analyse tax-related inquiries from all areas of the bank, as well as from external clients, providing professional insights and solutions.
What are we looking for?
- A degree in banking & finance, business administration or similar with several years of relevant professional experience.
- At least two years of experience in one of the mentioned tax topics above is a must.
- A proactive and independent approach to work, with strong organizational skills.
- Commitment to high-quality, accurate work, a reliable work ethic, and a can-do mindset.
- A collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in both German and English.
