JOB SUMMARY
As a Compliance Manager at Ascent, you will provide critical counsel and operational support to senior management on compliance matters.
Working closely with the Head of Compliance, you will help maintain and enhance Ascent’s compliance framework, ensuring that all policies, processes, and audits are aligned with regulatory standards and industry trends.
You will also assist in driving compliance initiatives, delivering impactful training, and working with internal departments to develop and refine compliance controls.
WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
- Support the continuous improvement of Ascent’s compliance and audit policies and processes
- Assist in the creation and delivery of compliance policy and training content across the organization
- Oversee and manage various systems, tools, and vendors used by the Legal & Compliance team
- Develop and update documentation related to internal processes, procedures, and protocols
- Collaborate with departments such as Internal Controls, Audit Shared Services, IT, Finance, and HR to ensure compliance processes are effectively embedded across the organization
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on compliance policies and tools
- Generate and analyze reports to identify gaps and opportunities for improving Ascent’s compliance framework
- Participate in special compliance or audit-related projects as needed
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance, auditing, or a related field
- Knowledge of the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or PBM industry is preferred
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with a proven ability to assess program metrics and financials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English; additional languages, such as German, are a plus
- Compliance certifications or similar credentials are preferred
