We are constantly expanding our market position with a future-oriented international business strategy. Therefore, we are looking for a dedicated and motivated person to strengthen our HR team in Aesch / Liesberg as

The Position

The Role

In this role you will be a part of the Basel HR team and your work will be conducted in the locations of Aesch and Liesberg.

Your Opportunities

  • Manage, coach and support line managers along the HR value-chain
  • Drive the HR Agenda for assigned user groups including attraction and hiring of talents, talent development, performance management, succession planning and organizational development in close cooperation with the business
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant labour regulation
  • Establish effective cooperative relationships with all local and global stakeholders from the business and HR
  • Collaborate with other HR Business Partners and peers to develop integrated solutions and to insure that policies and programs support the improvement of leader effectiveness and employee engagement
  • Support global and local HR programs and strategies in the respective business area and ensure alignment with the overall Site mission and strategy
  • Contribute actively to the HR TechOps agenda, designing and implementing global HR initiatives across multiple sites
  • Lead and execute initiatives and projects and provide Change Management support to the site
  • Develop a positive employee relations environment which optimizes our business effectiveness and minimizes legal risks
  • Resolve employee relations issues through a systematic approach, using sound judgment, legal advice (when appropriate) and a solution-oriented approach.

Who You Are

  • Academic background in human resources or related field
  • Several years’ experience as HR Business Partner within an international organization preferably within a pharmaceutical company
  • Very good knowledge of Swiss labour law, German labour law would be an advantage
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills, loyalty and discretion
  • Proven ability to facilitate, persuade, influence and build credibility with all levels and all functions
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Deep knowledge in HR Systems (preferable Abacus)
  • MS Office knowledge
  • Fluent in German, French and English is a must
