Your Purpose

We are looking for a highly strategically focused Senior Finance Business Partner to play a pivotal role in driving performance within our cruise business. This role requires a proactive mindset, with a strong emphasis on anticipating risks, identifying opportunities, and continuously monitoring financial and operational performance. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will provide critical insights to support data-driven decision-making and mid-term strategic planning.

Your Impact

Business Monitoring & Team Leadership :

Continuously track financial and operational performance against targets, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
Provide insightful financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making and optimise profitability.
Ensure that financial forecasting and re-forecasting processes are robust and responsive to business needs.
Lead and support the Finance Business Partners team, ensuring they have clear goals and the necessary support to succeed.
Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Business Partnering & Advisory :

Act as a key financial advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and business recommendations.

Analyse root-causes of business / operational performance and provide recommendations to improve results.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, marketing, etc.) to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Develop financial models and business cases to support investment decisions, new initiatives, and process improvements.

Support contract review and price / cost optimisation.

Work closely to whole Finance team to ensure effective knowledge sharing and to anticipate key activities and forecasts.

Influence and challenge stakeholders to drive value creation and operational efficiencies.

Support the data governance process by identifying reference reports, critical data for the company and defining rules to ensure data quality.

Risk & Opportunity Management :

Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities by analyzing trends, market conditions, and internal data.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide early warning signals on potential challenges or growth opportunities.

Develop risk mitigation strategies and recommend corrective actions to senior management.

Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess the financial impact of external and internal factors.

Your Journey so far

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s / MBA preferred).

8+ years of experience in finance, with a strong background in business partnering and financial planning.

Your Essentials

Proven ability to anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and monitor business performance in a fast-paced environment.

Strong cruise business awareness and strategic thinking.

Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis skills.

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.

High proficiency in Excel, financial reporting tools (for eg, Power BI), ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and EPM systems (for eg, Tagetik).

EU Passport or right to work in Switzerland.
