Finance Transformation Trainee

JOB PURPOSE

MSC Cruises is seeking for a Trainee to join the Finance Transformation Department. His/her main duty is to support the Program Management team in their daily activities mainly related to the global implementation of S/4 HANA(O2C, P2P, R2C and C2R) and the potential involvement in other parallel initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Finance Transformation Trainee will be responsible to assist the Finance Transformation and Development Department on the following activities:

• S/4 HANA implementation & other related business initiatives:

o Support the Project Management central team in its daily duties across different project phases(solution build, test, training, go-live…) with particular focus on:

▪ Test monitoring, extracting status from JIRA.

▪ Target operating model (TOM) design and maintenance.

▪ Pre and post Go-live assistance.

o Build and maintain project documentation (project plan, dashboards, procedures, communication plan, newsletters, slides etc.) and keep the shared library updated.

o Participate and help to prepare periodic alignments and governance meetings.

o Work closely with other finance business team members in order to track decisions taken, risks and actions. Collaborate to maintain the issue log and to perform related follow-up.

o Assist the team in the organizational and logistic tasks (meeting scheduling, room booking, attendees tracking, minutes preparation).

• Finance Portal SharePoint:

o Support finance department members by collecting feedback, proposals, changing requests and ensuring that all documents are up to date.

o Cooperate with the team in the portal On-Going maintenance.

• Team management & Control-Tower (pipe of projects/ initiatives managed by the Finance Transformation team):

o Collaborate in the weekly meeting organization by collecting agenda and materials.

o Track and update the initiatives and projects (new activities, achievement…).

o Participate to the internal and external team meetings.

o Maintain up to date the Finance Transformation control tower (planning, realization, workload, deliverables etc.).

• Department budget controlling:

o Collect purchase requests and create purchase orders in the MSC ERP system (Navision)o Track the costs related to the Finance Transformation Department.

o Support the Finance Transformation management, the controlling, and the account payable teams by performing requested analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS (skills, competencies, experience)

• Bachelor or Master Student in management, economics, business administration or in a related field. (Internship Agreement required)

• Project management knowledge and/or previous experiences are a plus.

• IT abilities and strong knowledge of Outlook, MSTeams, Sharepoint and Microsoft Office tools (Excel and .PowerPoint).

• Previous experience with ERP software is a plus (Navision, SAP etc.).

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Soft skills (proactivity, problem solving, communication, time management/organization, motivation, curiosity).

EU Passport or Right to work in Switzerland.
