For one of our clients, an international private bank based in Geneva we are looking for a :
ONBOARDING BUSINESS PARTNER
Job description
- Be in charge of the end to end client onboarding into the Bank
- Deal direct with clients in a personable and professional manner from prospect stage through to the opening of accounts
- Work in close co-ordination with Front Office, Operations and the relevant Risk and Financial Crime departments across the business
- Provide tailored, accurate and swift assistance to the client, ensuring a timely, smooth and positive onboarding experience
- Have responsibility for ensuring that client onboarding files meet the required Bank's policy and regulatory standards
- Act as a role model in respect of procedural requirements and have input into the Client Due Diligence policy and procedure development
Profile required
Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, including the ability to convey technical requirements to a non-specialistHave the ability and polish required to engage with clients of the Private Bank, and ensuring that conversations can be tailored to the level of the clientHave the confidence to communicate effectively with internal staffDemonstrate excellent time-management, self-planning and organisational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines and work under pressureUnderstanding of regulatory issues / procedures, with comprehensive and extensive knowledge of AML and KYC regulations and standardsAbility to make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information relating to Source of Wealth, adverse media, etc. including analysis of external information such as third party enhanced due diligence reports and reports in global mediaGood understanding of the role of private bankers and private banking products, with the ability to empathise and appreciate the relevance of the private bankers' role in supporting the onboarding processAbility to make clear presentations of information both written and orallyGood understanding of Microsoft standard packages, such as Word and ExcelFluent in English, any other languages would be an assetAll files will be treated with the utmost confidentiality
