Cloud Azure Consultant / Engineer

Job Description

As an internal Cloud Consultant, you are one of the top-performing Azure Cloud service providers. You play a key role in managing cloud service-related themes on Azure within your area of responsibility.

Your main missions are as follows :

• Internal management and adaptation of cloud services, implementing best practices in information security.
• Active (practical) support for various departments in executing cloud projects, including risk analysis regarding information security and potential consequences.
• Automation of processes and their implementation within cloud services.
• Active participation in the establishment and evolution of necessary concepts regarding cloud adaptation, cloud operations, cloud security, and governance.
• Configuration and management of cloud services in the Cloud Landing Zone, in close collaboration with technical stakeholders (engineers, architects, security).
• Training and instructing colleagues in cloud technologies and their practical application.
• Designing Azure solutions : Developing cloud projects and designs based on the Azure Cloud platform.
• Documentation of designs, configurations, processes, and implementations.

Additionally, you bring the following skills :

• Expertise and experience with Azure Cloud services.
• Experience with Hyperscaler technologies, including Azure and its associated services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and security services).
• Knowledge in infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code (e.g., Git, Terraform, Bicep) and in CI / CD pipelines (GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Experience in agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Good overall mastery of the Microsoft Azure platform (certification is a plus).
• Excellent skills in German and / or English.
