Manager - Financial Services Tax
Job content :
- Advise clients in the financial sector (including banks, insurance companies, and financial institutions) with a particular emphasis on withholding tax and stamp duty issues.
- Oversee and coordinate projects for both domestic and international clients.
- Perform tax analyses and evaluate financial products and derivative financial instruments.
- Collaborate closely and maintain coordination with our international partners.
- Prepare legal opinions and draft advance tax rulings.
- Engage directly with clients and tax authorities.
- Represent clients in dealings with tax authorities and during court proceedings in appeal cases, as well as draft other relevant legal documents.
- Work in partnership with specialists from various departments for cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements :
- A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Qualification as a certified Swiss tax expert or an LL.M. in International Taxation.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Swiss and international tax law.
- Proven experience in managing and implementing complex projects.
- A solution-focused, adaptable personality with the ability to handle pressure.
- Strong skills in process-oriented thinking and exceptional communication skills.
- Fluent in both German and English.
