Market Risk Analyst
Our client is a commodity trading company
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze financial markets to forecast trends and assess risk exposures.
- Develop risk management models and strategies to mitigate potential losses.
- Generate regular risk reports and dashboards for management review.
- Liaise with trading and finance teams to align risk strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor and comply with regulatory requirements affecting market risk practices.
- Continuously improve risk assessment tools and methodologies through technology.
Profile :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in market risk analysis or financial services.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and financial modeling tools like Excel or R.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and advising senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of current financial regulations and standards.
