Agile Product Owner with MFT-E / Control-M Engineering Expertise

Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced Agile Product Owner with a strong background in Managed File Transfer Enterprise (MFT-E) and Control-M Batch Engineering.

This role involves designing best practices for file transfer integrations, overseeing configuration and automation, and collaborating closely with stakeholders and development teams to ensure seamless, secure, and optimized MFT-E / Control-M integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical :

• Design best practices for inbound and outbound file transfer setup.
• Integrate MFT-E event-based processes into Control-M job scheduling.
• Manage product installation and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC), utilizing MFT-E Automation API within Ansible Playbooks.
• Implement robust MFT-E security engineering, including SSH-based transport-level security, PGP file encryption for message-level security, and comprehensive key management and lifecycle management.
• Document MFT-E engineering activities and solution integration within the Control-M Managed File Transfer Enterprise infrastructure.

Product Ownership :

• Act as the Product Owner for MFTE / Control-M Batch Engineering, collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements for development and support teams.
• Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, PO syncs, architectural refinements, big room planning, and OKR sessions.
• Foster a collaborative environment open to new ideas, continuous learning, and skill development.

Qualifications :

• Extensive experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments.
• Strong technical expertise in MFT-E and Control-M Batch Engineering, with hands-on experience in job development and migration.
• Proficiency in IaC / CaC, including experience with Ansible Playbooks and MFT-E Automation API.
• Deep understanding of secure file transfer protocols, encryption standards, and key management.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with an openness to new ideas and a continuous learning mindset.
