Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, deriving actionable insights, and driving commercial initiatives to enhance business performance.
You will collaborate with Product, Monetization, Marketing, Finance and Data teams to develop data-driven strategies that improve decision-making and foster business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with teams (Product, Monetization, Marketing, Finance) to understand data needs.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key business metrics and performance.
Translate data into actionable business insights, presenting clear and compelling recommendations to stakeholders to guide strategy, decision-making, and commercial initiatives.
Drive the execution of commercial initiatives based on data insights, ensuring measurable impact on business outcomes.
Formulate and test data-driven hypotheses through experimentation, designing and analyzing A / B tests for pricing, product, and marketing to optimize revenue, profitability, and user engagement.
Continuously monitor and report on the ROI of implemented strategies, recommending iterative improvements.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Fluent English skills (oral and written)
2-5 years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within a commercial or business-focused environment.
Proficiency in developing, optimizing and validating SQL queries.
Strong data visualization skills using tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
A keen understanding of business strategy and how data can influence decision-making.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
The capacity to examine business requirements across various functional areas and translate them into KPIs, insights, data models and dashboards.
Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex data findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have :
Experience building advanced data models and data models using Python, R or similar.
Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, or advanced statistical methods.
Past experience working in a tech-driven company with direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales through a digital platform or website.
