Forensic Accounting Associate

This role supports investigative and consultancy work through the delivery of sound analytical analysis and reporting. Successful individuals in this field are self-motivated, possess strong communication and analytical skills, and enjoy a wide variety of work experiences and challenge.

Day to Day Responsibilities : Perform analysis of accounting, finance, and economic issues in the context of business transactions;

provide recommendations where applicable. Review documents to identify items relevant to investigation and interview involved stakeholders.

Compile and analyse facts to formulate, substantiate and / or critique various damages theories, claims or conclusions. Perform targeted analysis of data, under the guidance of Project Managers, from client ERP systems Balance multiple projects and responsibilities.

Communicate effectively to all levels of project management and any key issues on the project progress. Support the (market) research required in the preparation of pitches and proposals.

Willingness to be further trained in the area of Asset Tracing and Open Source Intelligence. Required Skills & Experience Business fluency in German and English required.

Ideally have a Bachelors degree; Certified Accounting / Audit Professional and CFE preferred; additional education in the area of audit or compliance a plus.

Minimum of 1 3 years of technical and financial advisory experience related to forensic accounting, investigation, audit or litigation services;

prior forensic accounting experience strongly preferred. Must be flexible with the travel requirements of client service projects.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong work ethic, attention to detail and an inquiring mind. Familiarity with compliance and regulatory issues.

Highly motivated, proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team with a substantially high degree of initiative and drive.
