Planet Pharma is partnered with a Global Life Science Consultancy company, who are focusing on improving human and environmental health by providing analytical instruments, consumables, software, and services.
Our client is currently expanding their Analytical Solutions portfolio, and as part of their expansion they are hiring for an Account Manager to maintain existing client relationships, as well as expand their product area network in Eastern Switzerland.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage sales in inorganic (AAS, ICP-OES / MS) and chromatography (GC, LC, GC / MS, LC / MS) product areas.
- Grow and achieve sales targets in the product area.
- Provide solution-focused advice and support to customers.
- Develop new business relationships and maintain existing ones.
- Create and execute strategies to enhance market position.
- Attend and create presentations for events, seminars, and congresses.
- Work closely with key account managers, application specialists, and other stuff.
Main Requirements
- Experience in analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis and mass spectrometry.
- Experience in capital goods sales.
- Proven achievements in the space, successful sales track record.
- Bachelor's degree in natural sciences (ideally chemistry).
- Fluent in German and English.
- Located in Eastern Switzerland - willing to travel over 50% of the time.
