Position Overview :
We are looking for a Junior Sales Representative with at least one year of experience to support the sales team in expanding market presence and driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality management, preferably from a prestigious institution such as EHL, or a related field.
A native Swiss German speaker with fluent English and an entrepreneurial mindset will thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Identify and target potential clients, building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of products.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and expand the client base.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager.
- Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Experience in cold calling / client acquisition is a must-have.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from EHL or a similar prestigious institution, or a related field.
- Native Swiss German speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the food industry and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and deliver results.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM software is an advantage.
