About the Company : for an innovative and digital reality, which designs, manufactures and supplies a sustainable AI based technological solution for the 3D automated optical inspection of assembled printed circuit boards, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for a Optical Engineer . Core responsibilities : Design and develop optical systems, including telecentric lenses, projectors, and other optical components for 3D inspection applications. Perform optical simulations and analysis to optimize system performance. Work with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to integrate optical systems into the overall machine design. Prototype and test optical components and systems, ensuring their performance meets design specifications. Collaborate with AI and software teams to ensure the optical system supports machine learning and AI-driven inspection algorithms. Develop and document optical specifications, designs, and test procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve optical system issues during development and testing phases. Stay updated on the latest advancements in optical technology and apply them to improve product performance. Must have : Proven experience in designing optical systems for industrial applications, particularly in 3D optical inspection. Strong knowledge of optical components such as telecentric lenses, projectors, and imaging systems. Proficiency in optical design software (e.g., Zemax, Code V) and simulation tools. Experience in integrating optical systems with AI and machine learning algorithms is a plus. Nice to have : Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Optical Engineering.
