A fast-growing international company, recognized for its expertise in OT and IoT cybersecurity, is looking for a Software Engineer (Cloud Backend) to join its expanding team. The company develops cutting-edge solutions that protect critical infrastructures and connected environments across industries such as energy, manufacturing, transportation, and public services.
Your Role
As a Software Engineer (Cloud Backend), you will contribute to the design and development of a large-scale cloud platform dedicated to cybersecurity. You’ll build and optimize backend features, improve system performance, and collaborate closely with other engineers in an agile, fast-paced environment. This role offers real ownership of technical challenges and the chance to work on impactful, global projects.
Main Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services for the company’s cloud solution.
Develop new features while reducing technical debt and improving system stability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable features.
Support and promote agile methodologies and good development practices.
Take ownership of your projects from design to release.
Your Profile
Proven experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails or a similar backend framework.
Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems .
Experience with automated testing (TDD, BDD, etc.).
Knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and React is a strong plus.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and networking protocols (TCP / IP, UDP, etc.) is appreciated.
Experience working in Agile environments .
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential or sensitive data.
