Job description

The main goal of this position is to develop HPC platform services for a multi-tenant infrastructure. As a systems platform engineer, you will directly contribute to the design, implementation, maintenance, and documentation of platform services for HPC.

Your work will directly enhance the overall HPC system functionality and efficiency.

Your responsibilities :

  • Designing and deploying HPC systems platforms to respond to the requirements of our user communities;
  • Implementing, deploying, and testing the platforms for which you are responsible;
  • Managing and maintaining the platforms over time;
  • Supporting and documenting the platforms.

Profile

We are looking for a professional with more than five years of experience in the deployment and management of Linux systems.

Expected qualifications :

  • Management of Linux systems, including compute, storage and network components;
  • Working knowledge of automation tools and frameworks, including CI / CD processes and ecosystem;
  • Experience with the following is considered an advantage, though there will be ample opportunities to learn and gain more experience with all of these skills on the job :

  • Configuration of Slurm HPC scheduler,
  • JFrog Artifactory,
  • Developing Ansible configurations,
  • Developing services on top of Kubernetes.
  • Experience in the deployment and utilization of HPC platform services like scheduling and job reporting tools;
  • You should have a bachelor’s or higher degree in computer engineering, computer science, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
