This position reports to Finance ManagerYour role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to our manufacturing site in Uster. You will compile and analyze various relevant metrics, identify trends and problems, and collaborate closely with the various departments on site. You will showcase your expertise in financial and controlling by recommending actions to improve financial performance of the manufacturing unit. The work model for the role is hybrid, but mainly onsite. This role is contributing to the EL Installation Product Division in Europe. Main stakeholders are the BU Management in Europe and the EL Finance Team in Switzerland. You will be mainly accountable for : Performing analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast, and accordingly proposing improvement actions. Working closely with the members of the finance team and various department heads in Uster to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance of the organization and identify trends. Preparing financial modeling for various hypotheses and the overall impact to the business unit. Supporting the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the relevant organization. You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive. This position reports to the unit finance manager.Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled in financial and cost accounting in a manufacturing unit. You have 5 years of experience in financial controlling. Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP (FI, CO, MM, PP). You are passionate about communicating and collaborating with the different departments within a factory. Proven experience in US GAAP, Financial Reporting, and Financial closing.
