IT Service Manager (80-100%)

We are looking for a new team member in the Service Management Team who will bring the Technology Platform services to a new level.

The Service Manager role at Vontobel is a mix between a Service Manager, Product Owner and Project Manager. We are based in the Technology Platform department and are very close to our customers.

Together with the team you are responsible for IT services related to Information Technology. The following topics and technologies are part of these services : Workplace Services, (M365 incl.

Teams, Windows, hardware...), Platform Services (Windows, Unix, ...), Databases as well as data & security solutions. We will define the exact responsibilities together within the team.

What would your role be?

• Interface and coordination between Business IT and different technology teams such as IT engineering, IT security and support
• Development of the roadmap and strategy for the services
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers incl. contract management
• Ensuring budget management, resource allocation and cost-effective service operation
• Leading or co-leading service-related projects
• Service lifecycle management incl. IT change & release coordination
• Continuously improving the services and processes to create added value for Vontobel

What are we looking for?

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Information Technology or similar field
• In-depth understanding of platform and workplace technologies, good IT knowledge in general including related security and regulatory topics
• A deep understanding of IT Service Management incl. ITIL, DevOps and project methodology skills (agile, waterfall, )
• An excellent communicator across all levels with a persuasive, tenacious, and open mindset
• A self-driven person with a pro-active approach and a strong team player
• Very good at setting the right priorities and putting customer value first
• Fluent German and English language skills are a must
