Data Engineer – Switzerland- Hedge Fund - Oil and Gas
Responsibilities
- Develop, highly scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
- Design and implement efficient database architectures to support the storage and retrieval of large datasets.
- Collaborate with quants and data scientists to understand their data needs and provide timely and reliable data support.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through effective dataernance and management practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree inputer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, preferably within the financial industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (, Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow).
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong understanding of AWS.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (, Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of data architecture and ETL processes.
