As our Branch Sector Lead - Sustainable Finance , you will be responsible for defining and executing the sector strategy for the market in Switzerland and abroad.

You will ensure operational excellence and business development in the sector.

The role

You will be responsible for defining Quantis’ purpose and strategy for the sustainable finance sector in Switzerland. Maintaining and improving Quantis’ excellence at both selling and delivering solutions in the sector, representing Quantis’ sustainable finance presence externally and leading the go-to-market initiatives in the sector will be essential.

You will also collaborate closely with all functions within the organization such as marketing, corporate communications, strategic consulting.

• Business Development
• You have business acumen and a consultative approach working with clients
• You are a strong contributor to business development activities : you have a significant network within the sustainable finance space (ideally in Asset Management / Private Equity firms) in Switzerland and abroad, in addition to a strong knowledge of principles, major challenges, stakeholders and instruments within the finance sector such as :
• Climate portfolio-alignment tools (ou methods related to the alignment of portfolios with the Paris Agreement),
• Biodiversity impact measurement and strategy tools for portfolios,
• Portfolio environmental impact screening tools (e.g. NEC initiative),
• Environmental-related financial risks assessment methods.

Project Management

• You’re motivated to guide investors towards inspiring sustainable changes by providing key actors with the appropriate tools and strategies, as well as to communicate credibly on their efforts
• You have the ability to organize workload, project streams and priorities to deliver in a timely manner
• Your own work is structured, you have demonstrated high levels of self-motivation and determination in managing complex analytical challenges and problem-solving skills

Other

• You have 8-15 years of professional experience, at least 5 of which are acquired in the sustainable finance space within financial services companies and / or consulting
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex information in clear, understandable ways to internal and external audiences.
• You are fully fluent in English, French and / or German are a strong asset

AS A BRANCH SECTOR LEAD - SUSTAINABLE FINANCE, HERE’S A PREVIEW OF WHAT TYPE OF WORK YOUR DAYS WILL INCLUDE :

This role includes client project work, business development activities and learning & development opportunities.

• Develop the branch strategy in the field of sustainable finance : through market trends assessment and connection with other services, sectors & innovation to align service offerings with our clients needs
• Being a strong business developer to nurture the pipeline in order to achieve branch sales target.
• Define Quantis’ value proposition in the finance space and adapt our solution to accelerate business transformation and answer new needs
• Continuously improve and expand Quantis’ development and implementation in the sustainable finance area through the development with the business developers of outreaches, account management strategies and marketing initiatives.
• Serve as subject matter expert supporting the branch and other branches in successfully delivering sustainable finance related services.
• Thought leadership and training : develop and share Quantis’ thought leadership on sustainable finance related topics ;

participating in relevant internal discussions and guiding project teams.

• Maintain and improve Quantis’ ability to market and sell the strategic offering, identify needs and implement actions to revise or expand on the deliverables or market positioning of the strategic offering, including relevant new innovations.
• Achieve the objectives and key results for the strategic offering, tracking project profitability and quality, and assessing how it contributes to branch P&L and strategy

• Frequent collaboration with other Quantis branches (France, Italy, USA, Germany) via web-conferences
• Ability to travel (eventually), approximately 30%
